A New Approach to Advanced Computer Training

You're an IT professional.  You can design and manage a computer network,  develop applications, and/or code and manage a large relational database management system.  Or you're on the path to acquiring those skills.

The SAJES Group, Inc. offers a new approach to training.  One that isn't boring or dry.  One that will draw you in and get you excited.  One that lets you see, every minute of every day, why you are learning what you're learning and how it will increase your value to your employer by teaching you to solve real business problems.

Are our courses easy?  In a word, no.  Learning requires active mental processing on the part of the learner.  In other words, it takes real work to learn.  So easy is not a term we're going to use to sell our courses, because our courses result in real learning.  And real learning isn't easy.  But that doesn't mean you won't enjoy it, and it doesn't mean your can't do it - everyone can learn, and our approach is designed to get you where you need to be, no matter who you are.  We will get you there.  You will leave the classroom with new and significant skills that will transfer directly to your real-world environment.

Are our courses fun?  Well... fun is a relative term.  We won't promise a wine and cheese party with a string quartet playing in the background.  We will promise that from start to finish you will be learning a lot while solving real business problems. At the end of each training day you'll know, without a doubt, that you are a significantly more highly skilled and confident IT professional, offering greater value to any organization, than you were that morning.  And that would be fun, right?

Our coures are designed, written, and taught by Dr. John M. Bunch, an expert in both database technology and instruction.  He worked for years as a professional database administrator and developer, and still consults with industry on RDBMS topics.  Further, he holds a doctorate in education with a specialty in computer training.  He's written articles on designing instruction for teaching database technology and other computer topics that have been presented at major conferences, and been published in journals such as The Journal of Information Systems Education and The Journal of Information Technology Education.
